Somewhere in SoCal

We’re all built by where we come from and where we’re headed. Diana Taurasi, daughter of an Argentine mother and Italian father, started her journey in Southern California. Her most famous stops since have been in Connecticut and Phoenix, where she won three titles apiece with UConn and the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury. But she never forgets where she came from. The Players’ Tribune caught up with Diana in Manhattan Beach, CA, just down the road from her hometown of Chino.
