Dear Aja

With the Olympic Winter Games in sight, Sequocoria Mallory has a message for her daughter, Aja. Born into a family of athletes, Aja has experienced all the highs and lows of being in the spotlight. From winning Bronze at the Olympic Winter Games Sochi 2014, to overcoming an ACL injury and two surgeries in 2015, to consistently rising above racial stereotypes, Aja has inspired young athletes to believe that anything is possible. In a prideful message from her mother, Aja is described as a model for sportsmanship, endurance and what it means to be a team player.  With her sights set on winning the Gold in PyeongChang, Aja returns stronger than ever with her family by her side.
